Being invited to the film set of "Just Between Us" and getting the chance to look over Director Rajko Grlic's shoulder was an outstanding experience.

Rajko did not only take the time to explain his approach on filmmaking while he was giving us an inside view on film directing, he also made it possible for us to spend time with every department and learn about the work of each member of a professional film set.

One of the greatest outcomes for me was to watch the crew work and even more important being able to ask questions and have the team members explain their work. They knew exactly what they did and ensured the heads of their departments that everything was taken care of at any given time. It was inspiring and a very good example of film as collaborative art form that already had a big influence on my own approach on filmmaking.

It is invaluable for future filmmakers to reach beyond the borders of film school and interact with professional, working filmmakers to learn from their experience. It is something that can't be taught in a classroom and I am glad that I as an OU Student was chosen to be a part of the trip to Zagreb.
